Catheter Care Online
Self enrolment

This is a 1 - 1.5 hour assessed course which will enable learners to understand why we use catheters and the importance of catheter care. This course is optional learning for all employees but should be completed by staff if they are supporting someone who has a catheter.

This is a 3 - 3.5 hour assessed course which will enable learners to think and act in a much more organised and planned way towards clearning. This course is optional learning for all staff. 

To access this course ask your line manager to contact eLearning and we will provide them with a user name and password for you, as there are limited numbers of licences for this course.

This is a 1 hour assessed course which will enable Care Home, Care at Home Services and / or Housing Support Services, as directed by your Local Management Team, to self-test for Covid-19 using a Lateral Flow Device (LFD).

This is an 1 hour assessed course which will enable Care Home, Care at Home and / or Housing Support Services, as directed by your Local Management Team, to self-test for Covid-19 using an Orient Gene LFD Test.

All office based staff, who plan to return to work, should complete this course.

Introduction to Autism
Self enrolment

This is a 2 - 3 hour assessed course covering the different forms of autism and the impact they can have on individuals. This course is optional for all employees.

This is a 4 hour course using open learning materials and explores how knowledge and beliefs about death and encounters with death affect people’s lives. It also examines the concept of a “good death” from an individual perspective in order to enhance the quality of dying.

This course is optional and no certificate will be issued as it is not assessed.

This is a 30 minute course created for staff as an introduction to understanding mental health and looking after your well-being. . This course is option learning for all employees.

This is a 1 - 1.5 hour assessed course and is for anyone who wants to learn more about mental health, whether it is how to look after your own mental health, or advice on supporting a colleague.  This online course aims to increase awareness of mental health at work.

This is a 1.5 hour assessed course where you will learn what motivates volunteers, how to retaining volunteers and the importance of supervision with volunteers. This course is optional for all employees.

Naloxone
Self enrolment

This is a 45 minute assessed course designed to provide information on Naloxone and what to do if someone within the project / service is suspected of taking an overdose of opioids.  This course is optional for all employees.

This course is optional and no certificate will be issued as it is not assessed.

This is a 1.5 - 2 hour assessed course which will enable learners to understand the associated risks of pressure ulcers and what to look out for. This course is optional learning for all employees but should be completed by staff who work with someone who has a pressure ulcer or work with people who are likely to develop one.

This is a 1 - 1.5 hour assessed course covering the basics of supporting people with diabetes. This course is optional for all employees.
